FAQs

The Nazareth Sisters of the Annunciation are a Catholic religious congregation founded on December 8, 1955, in the Diocese of Meru, Kenya. Inspired by the Holy Family of Nazareth and the spirit of the Annunciation, the Sisters serve God through pastoral care, education, healthcare, and social ministries—especially among women, youth, and children.

If you feel called to religious life or are discerning a vocation, we welcome you to reach out to our Vocation and Formation team. We provide spiritual guidance, retreats, and formation programs for women seeking to dedicate their lives to Christ in community and service.

The Sisters are actively involved in various ministries including:

  • Running schools and dispensaries

  • Offering pastoral and social outreach

  • Supporting women’s empowerment and youth development

  • Promoting spiritual care in parishes and small Christian communities
Each ministry reflects our commitment to uplift human dignity and serve with compassion.

You can support us through prayers, donations, or volunteering. Your contribution helps us continue vital services such as healthcare for the elderly Sisters, education for vulnerable children, and development projects across our mission centers. For support options, please visit our Contact page.
