Orientation and Catechism
The First Year of Formation in Community Life
The Aspirancy marks the beginning of the formation journey and lasts for one year. During this stage, the candidate is gently introduced to community life, participating in its prayers, daily activities, and shared responsibilities. This period serves as a foundation for personal transformation—helping the candidate transition from her former way of life toward the path of Christian and religious growth.
The primary focus during this stage is the Catechism, which grounds the candidate in the core teachings of the Catholic faith, supporting her human and spiritual development and preparing her for the next stage of formation.
