Engineer Community was founded on 1st March 1996 to serve the people at St. Anthony Parish, North Kinango—Nyahururu Diocese. The  first three Sisters were received by the late Archbishop Nicodemus Kirima, the Archbishop of Nyeri that time. They were warmly welcomed by Rev. Fr. Daniel Kabaiko, the Parish Priest and the Parish Council of the time.  The pioneer sisters were, Sr. Hellen Marigu, Sr. Ann Tarsilla Wanja and late Sr. Anne Fridah Mukwanyaga.

Today, the Nazareth Sisters render services in the following areas of Apostolate.

1) Pastoral Activities and

2) Nursing Services at St. Lawrence Dispensary.

We appreciate the warmth with which the Christians have held the Sisters all these twenty-five years.  We thank God for this gift of working in collaboration with both the Christians and the Clergy who have served in this Parish.
